Salty Girl Workshops
Growing up in York, Maine, folklore has it that Cherie Herne, the creative heart behind Maine Salty Girl, is part mermaid! Using her graphic design education, native wild spirit (she's 1/6th Penobscot Indian), and passion for the sun, sand, and sea, Cherie crafts stunning one-of-a-kind driftwood creations.
Sarah (Cherie's assistant mermaid at Salty Girl) and Cherie have become known for their authentic, hand-crafted driftwood and sea glass wreaths and coastal beach house decor. Together, these gals will teach you step-by-step how to make your own beautiful, sea-inspired art pieces from Maine's natural beach treasures.
-----------
Join us for a class and see for yourself how great it feels to create a beach house piece of art with your own two hands!
Classes are held at our workshop in Eliot, Maine, and at River Tree Arts in Kennebunkport. We also offer private group classes at our workshop or a location of your choice.
